2018 Lounge NASCAR Challenge - Daytona

Welcome to the 2018 edition of the Lounge NASCAR Challenge as of now, the rules package remains the same. Each participant will select a primary and an alternate driver each week for the first 26 weeks. If your primary driver wins the race, then you will earn 61 bonus points. If your alternate driver wins the race, you will earn 11 bonus points. A first place finish by either driver will result in 40 points, second place 39, third place 38 all the way to last place earning 1 point. Same stuff as the past few years.
I am currently trying to come up with a playoff package that better reflects the full year standings, but aside from ditching the "chase" format, im having a hard time coming up with something that is fair. If anyone has any ideas, please hit the tmale and I would be happy to hear any and all ideas.
