Reggie Jackson earned the nickname “Mr. October” because he shined on baseball’s biggest stage, and if Clemson is to have the type of season the fans envision in 2015 someone – whether it’s Dabo Swinney or Deshaun Watson or Shaq Lawson or Artavis Scott – may have to take that nickname for their very own. The sun pumpers and orange-colored Ray ban wearers believe we will sail through the schedule unscathed. Just hand is the trophy now. But I see our schedule as incredibly tough. Should Dabo finally put it altogether in one season(ACC Champs, beat South Carolina, and win a bowl game) it will be one heck of a season.

never see a 5 day turn around again like we did in 2006 (GT, Gameday game, then at VT on the road the next Thursday night). At least this time it won't be such an emotional high coming off a win against App State.

for spectators. Coaches and players are only - and can only think about one thing - the opener. And maybe Tech along with it (or which ever game Wofford is). In fact, from what I hear we won't have a cake walk in September. These are good teams. Let's stay focused on the matter at hand.

Will need to step up in ND, GaT, FSU and a handful of road games. Tough to balance the needed game-time passion and maintain the season long one-game-at-a-time pacing, but the great teams find a way to do it. Go Tigers!
