so is his ability to not commit to being the best receiver he can be....those who really think he'll go higher, get ready to be disappointed....wish the guy the best, but that "need for money" due to his financial situation and family issues (having a kid) really will end up his downfall. Combine numbers could look good, but he still hardly has enough "highlight" tape for it to shift him into huge differences. Combine shows his potential...his 3 years at Clemson shows how he squanders it. He'll start 6th round, at best combine moves him to late 5th.

Wide receiver is a position that has proven to rely heavily on measurables which are demonstrated at the combine. I don't agree with the methodology but ithere is precedent that particularly at this position his height, speed, and hands alone will make him a valuable commodity. If the kind of 40 numbers that have been thrown around here prove true there is no way he drops below 3rd round. If he runs a sub 4.4 40 he will probably move into 2nd round.

Though I agree and understand, you also have to look at that downfall with him. Height, speed, hands....and missing catches as much as he has with all that in play....better hope all those work at the combine like we all believe his potential can.

But if the Bryant that missed all those catches this season that Nuk and Sammy could have caught shows up, even with all that "height speed and hand potential", and he still can't commit to the play and make the catch...we'll all be sitting there saying what we say about Bellamy...."man, the potential that kid HAD"....lol.

See guys, this is the type of ranking to brag about.

How can you possibly support your position?

you mean like the coots??? lol.

Where's that placing Clowney in their DE list? Just saying, there's where that reasoning falls apart, right...

I have my Clemson Class of 2001 ring ready to take a pic when you try to call me a coot, but hey, can't play the "gotta easy schedule" thing....especially after we were beat the friggin 5th year in a row by a team that we all say "had an easy schedule". SMH.

Feb 7, 2014, 2:45 PM

you mentioned taking into account an easy schedule....just like the coots had....on top of that same guy playing it safe and hardly doing crap all year? BUt keeps sitting at the top when Beasley's stats look just as good, and he has shown much more commitment....so where do they count that fact?

Oh...like I said...

Coot.
