Picky Eater Test.............
Jan 23, 2020, 10:30 AM
|
|
I gave myself a 9. Two of which I haven't had and won't. (snails & tofu)
The other 7 I've had but won't again. (raw fish, any tuna, carrots, cauliflower, coconut, raisins, Nutella)
As for milk I use it for cooking. Not going to drink that crap.

I cook with but rarely eat.
For instance ketchup is only for fries or tots. Eggplant only when I cook gravy yadda yadda. And I don't drink coffee.

And I tried all of them.
Raw fish - nope. I gave sushi a shot and do not like it.
Tofu - ugh. Tried it and yes if that is all I had on a deserted island, I would eat, but would not like it.
Spinach - no thanks. tasteless and hate it.
Add:
Cilantro - if I want to eat soap, I will get some Ivory.
Grits - just looking at them makes me want to puke.

Lots of stuff on that list I’m not wild about
Jan 23, 2020, 10:49 AM

Only one I won’t eat if offered is raw fish. I saw a video of the mass of parasitic worms you can get in your gut from eating sushi and I refuse to touch it. Not wild about canned tuna, smells like cat food, but if someone fixed tuna salad and offered it, I would eat it.

the leafy green stuff you make salads with. But ain't nuthin' on that list I won't eat. You dudes were talkin' about C-Loaf last week...if'n that was on the list, yeah, thats a no. Generally, organs and odd animal body parts don't jive with me. Balls...I ain't eatin' animal balls, but beef tongue is somehow delicious; so there are exceptions. Came across something called century eggs once, which is basically an egg (chicken, duck, quail, doesn't matter) that is allowed to rot yet is in a preserved some kind of salt solution. It's supposed to be similar to a soft cheese of some sort...um, no, they smelled like eggs that sat out rotting in an Alabama August. So no on that one.
Lotta gross shid people eat out there.

I'll claim 2, but only because I can't remember if I liked snails b/c I was drunk.
Ironically, the only other one I don't eat is one most of yall seem to like- oysters. In fairness, I can't ever remember trying one. The look slimy and nasty, but I'd give one a shot with hot sauce and I'd probably like them from there forward.

oysters. My mom would cook stew and I'd strain it just to get the soup.
Now I'll slurp a raw oyster with hot sauce or horseradish down in a second. Small ones though I don't care for the big ones. That doesn't sound right lol.
