1981 all over again

The year was 1981, and the tigers were to play MIGHTY Nebraska for the title. Everyone said the big strong corn-fed players would Kill Clemson! Clemson with our under-sized quarterback would lose in a grotesque fashion to the cornhuskers. Danny Ford and team had a different plan, and we all know the result. Does this sound familiar? Even at age 14 I can still remember the disrespect, but I also remember the feeling when Clemson won the NC. This feels like 1981 again.

I was a band wagon fan. Didn't go to Clemson until '84
