1979 Daytona 500

Anyone remember the 79 Daytona 500? A massive snowstorm on the east coast kept many indoors watching TV. That turned out to be the boost NASCAR needed to go big time.

With the massive rain forecast for Saturday night, a similar fate awaits Clemson. Prime time TV coverage of what promises to be not only a good game, but one to showcase Clemson football and FAN SUPPORT! Show the nation what Clemson spirit is. Be loud and proud and orange.

I imagine millions more will see this game that normally wouldn't due to being stuck at home.

Before February 1979 nobody knew who Dale Earnhardt was. Lots more will know who Clemson is after Saturday.
