Which was of course on a Friday night as the very next day our Tigers would brawl with Holtz’s Gamecocks.
What an insane two days of sports brawls. Can you imagine how that would be today with cell phone videos all over and Twitter?

It was worth missing a bowl game for that. Taught them dumb clucks some manners.

Didn't teach them a thing. Still as stupid now as they were then. That bunch will never change.

true and it was not worth missing a bowl. even a crappy one. letting those bozos basically decide what we do and how we react was stupid.

I remember Herbie commenting that you would never see that in the O31-0 St / Mich game because they had such a deep respect for the rivalry and for each other's programs.

1. Obviously - the small Paw. Disgusting.
2. Kicking a person in the head while they are on the ground and defenseless.
But that small Paw . . . . that is THE tragedy of the Tommy Bowden era.

yeah I’m not a fan of how some Clemson people use that pic

As a cool ownage of the gamecocks. It was a dirty move. The gamecock guy is defenseless and covering his head with his helmet off. It’s never ok to kick someone while down, especially in the head like that.

And he got thrown to the ground in response. That’s good enough reprisal.

Attractive UGA student who was visiting me, while watching malice at the palace in my Clemson dorm room.
She then accompanied me to the usuck game the next day where we had front row seats to the brawl.
What a weekend!
