With our conference record sitting at 6-2, I think that with the schedule we have left, we should be able to go at least 6-4 with a great chance at 8-2. If the better happens and we are 14-4 in conference we will def. be top 4 with double bye in conference tourney and make the dance with a record of 21-9

That would but us at 19-11 but I would think we would have to win one in acc tourney time, magic number I think is 20 wins for us. My own opinion.

A solid ACC finish, great record against the RPI top 50, and the losses early in the year aren't horrible like in years past.

puts a lot of weight on how you are playing down the stretch and they look at your record over your last 10 games.

Some of the most important things they look at are:
1. Top 50 RPI record
2. RPI
3. Conference record
4. Record over your last 10 games
5. Bad losses verses good wins


Clemson is doing very well right now with:
1. Top 50 RPI wins
2. Conference record
3. Record over last 10 games

Clemson is not doing so well with:
1. RPI
2. Bad losses

as my Indian software buddies like to say ... what matters most is what your team has been doing LATELY (last two nonths) ... who cares what happened in the beginning of the season ... it just doesn't matter ... You gonna keep out a team that has been been beating "everybody" lately yet lost to "podank U" in November ? .. that would not make any sense ... its the whole concept that a team "got a lot better" ... the contra view is very "bureaucratic" (only makes sense to liberals and Gub'ment contractors)
