In case you missed it, it will be cold in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts for the division showdown between No. 2 Clemson and No. 17 Boston College.

Freshman starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence said earlier this week that this trip will be the furthest north he has gone - and the speculation on how Clemson can handle the conditions has only grown from there this week.

The National Weather Service calls for the temperature to be around freezing and gusts of wind in the mid-30s around the 8 p.m. kickoff (ABC televised).

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney shrugged off the impact this morning on ESPN's College GameDay.

"Shoot man, this is going to be the same conditions for both teams and you just go out there and have fun with it," Swinney said. "Focus on the job and don't worry about the stuff you can't control. Just stay focused on the things you can control."

In more pressing game impacts, Swinney was asked about an aggressive BC attack and what they have to do to handle it as well.

"Just make sure we communicate well and ID the fronts and get everyone on the same page," he said. "That's the biggest thing. Same as we do every week. We try not to have negative plays and to protect our quarterback. That will be a big key in this game. They are a very good, big, stout defensive front."
