The only two-way first-team all-state selection in Virginia in 1991 for Nansemond-Suffolk Academy...won honors as an offensive and defensive tackle...also served as punter and placekicker and was a key reason Nansemond-Suffolk won the state championship in 1991...had 18.5 sacks during his high school career as a three-year starter, the second-highest figure in school history...had 110 tackles and eight sacks as a senior...lead blocker for the offense that gained over 2,500 yards rushing...attended Air Force Prep school in Colorado Springs, CO, in 1992 where he was a starting defensive tackle.
