Disaster. Didn't take two months.

Remember when Trump didn’t ban enough people from entering; Covid and all that?

Pelosi has the huge balls to say that this current "difficulty" is Trump's fault and that the Biden Administration is fixing the problem. OK. Got it Nance.

Yes, absurd. Biden and his administration's rhetoric are

significant contributing factors in the influx of illegal immigrants. And of course they can't take a hard stance on this because politics. So they'll continue to signal that the doors are open...and they'll continue to actually leave the doors open...and we all know where this will go. We voted for it.

Another way Biden is making it worse is when he says things like or similar to, "Dont come to the border. Give us some time to get set up first." That's a weak message. So he is inviting them to come at a later date once we get the facilities prepared to accommodate them.

Exactly right. Asking to let us vacuum the carpet first is

an unbelievable message.

Biden's going to have to make a public stance: THE BORDER IS CLOSED.

It isn't going to be popular. But he's going to have to say it. Loudly.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yes, he would have to make that public stance and back

Mar 17, 2021, 9:45 AM

it with actions at the border and coordination with Mexico.

But we all know he won't do that. Not because it's not what's best for the country. That doesn't even enter into the equation. The problem is it's not a 180 from Trump, so his constituents won't accept that, and we all know that Biden is not the man to lead people. He's pure politician, and a weak one at that.

Well, he's going to have to, or he's inviting a fairly epic humanitarian crisis and a political cudgel the Pubs are just going to beat him straight over the head with.

Like it or not, it's a big problem that's only going to get bigger unless he acts with some strength and cajones and firmness. I think his best move is facts and firmness. I think he needs to point cameras at the scale of the problem, and say, and in a firm voice, and in no uncertain terms: "The situation has not changed. The border is closed, the border remains closed, and I am deploying troops, police, and additional government resources to ensure the security of the American border. Please do not attempt to travel to America; we cannot allow you in at this time, and if you come you're just putting yourselves and your families in a desperate position, and you will not be allowed in anyway. This is not a good situation so stay away."

He doesn't have to be a d!ck about it, but he can't be weak, either. That term "coyotes" for people-smugglers is pretty durn apt because they are indeed preying upon their fellow humans. I loathe them.

So Trump was tough at the border and he was uncaring and cruel. If Biden gets tough ( he won’t) he will be a great leader.

Actual leaders don't care about measures like "great".

They just do what comes "next", and let history judge as it will.

What comes next is dealing with that human anthill piling up on the Southern border, like it or not. If Joe tries to ignore it, it's going to deal with him.
