across the 50 states, folks who denigrate it are chastised in the worst way, and those that use it are glorified?
I'm talking like "And with the 451st pick in the 2028 NFL Draft, the LA Jaguars select.....Jadevvveon Clowney Junior from Winthrop University!!!" and JCJ is on video lighting up a blunt then it is talked about in the media for months and is declared a landmark time in history and he's allowed to smoke up in locker rooms.

seems odd to me. I don't do either so it doesn't really apply to my life.
Some places being caught smoking on property is a fireable offense. Places like hospitals, school campuses, etc have cracked down tremendously.
Insurance premiums skyrocket for cigarette smokers. So if pot becomes legal, would your insurance rates reflect if you smoked or not?
Personally, I'd welcome a ban on smoking in all forms. It's just nasty.

ciggies when it comes to where you can/cannot partake. All smoke is a nuisance.
I think I'd make weed like alcohol also...only consumed at establishments for those 18 and up or 21 and up, and in the privacy of your home.
Kids shouldn't have unlimited access to seeing folks smoke weed.
Insurance rates: Nah. Pot not even close to as harmful as ciggies. In fact it may do the opposite...calm down some crazy mo fos that live life on the edge. Arguement could be made to LOWER insurance rates for maryjaners.
