I should stay silent, but if for whatever reason Muscoot's tenure ends - I think they should try to get Dave Clawson at Wake. Whether he would go - don't know, but he would be leaving the smallest school in Power 5 (if not the entire FBS...?). He would (probably) make more money; I mean, if he got 'em to a bowl & won it - Tanner would give him a 10 year contract @ $5-mil a year.

Likely be the best hire THEY could make & he just might take it.

Why would he do that? If he goes where can win after Wake

after three years he could name his ticket anywhere. Three years losing in Cooterville would put him back being a co-ordinator somewhere.

But SCAR would not stoop so low as to pick a lowly ACC coach. Pride gets in their way.

They want a big name like Leach. And they are willing to sell their souls to get wins, so Briles and Kiffin are possibilities.
