It seems you failed to read past that line in the article and thus completely missed the point.

Shaq graduated. He is going home to work with his mentor and his friends in a situation that needs some help. The decision says a lot of positive things about his character.

Correct. I think it is more about his hometown and his home community. Good for him - taking his lessons from Dabo and Co to the "field". They are sorely needed.

I think Dabo should list his as one of his big success stories, and believe that this guy is taking what he has learned at Clemson to a program that probably needs him a lot more than Clemson does right now. I wish him the best!
