If we didn't have TL or going after Henry I say we take advantage and get those two guys parsons and fields bc both are going to be studs fields is 2 overall qb behind TL amd parsons is 3 in espn but want Henry over parsons. Henry is just a monster and love his film men against boys and he plays good competition, even man handles the top olinemen in camp. But if we miss in Henry I'd love to take parsons as a back up both are top 5 overall players and I don't think much difference between 3 and 5

Parsons is oversign worthy , and even though I have heard " character issue " talk about him I think our coaching staff can evaluate young men with the best of them .

I honestly don't think it's a sign that anything is wrong there. I think they recognized fields talent before other people did. They were one of the first to offer. Now that he exploded into scene with elite 11, had a lot of other interest. And he wants to play the field. I can't blame him. I would watch penn state, I think they are legitimately building a program.

As a Pennsylvania resident, I can say all of the following:

1. Life on the Penn State campus is not all that it is cracked up to be.

2. James Franklin and his staff do not in any way compare to the quality of Dabo and his staff and others.

3. Penn State winning the Big Ten last year was a freakish happening and will not happen again this coming year.

4. Penn State does not have the highest quality athletes throughout their roster as Clemson and others have, nor the depth per position.

5. Penn State is too quick to press for early signings before these stars have really had the opportunity to consider the full market.

6. They may have committed early but as they continue to learn about Penn State and in particular see what is happening with the recruiting of other teams, they have second thoughts.
