Doesn't really matter we don't need JUCOs...

Most of the players we sign don't have problems with qualifying. So we have no need to get JUCOs. Better to have a player that will be at Clemson 3-5 years, know the coaches and system, rather than a player who will only be there 1-2 years and is hit or miss because he is learning a new system and just getting to know the coaches.

Wasn't contentious, just don't see the point in discussing JUCOs....

We don't take JUCOs (and probably never will again) and we recruit so well we don't need to take risk on hit or miss players.

I don't care that you and your troll clique doesn't like me. Your troll clique doesn't own tigernet. I can state my opinion on Clemson athletics and there is nothing you can do about it.

The only troll in this thread is you.
Your first post was made to do nothing other than get a rise out of people that is the definition of trolling.
Edit: not sure why my posts keep going away I have done nothing wrong.

If memory serves, it was Martavis Bryant

He spent one year at Hargrave in Virginia in order to comply with NCAA/Clemson eligibility requirements. Although I believe Hargrave is a prep school and not a JuCo

Prep school is for players that are missing a few credits. JUCO is for players who have a lot of academic catching up to do.

actually, i believe a prep school kid has all his credits, just needs to improve his test score. a kid that doesn't have enough 'core courses" has to go JUCO.

Prep you can do either.
To do the credit side you can't graduate from the high school you were attending.

correct. your core courses are locked in ( do believe you can replace one course in summer school or prep after you grad. But some kids choose not to grad and by doing that, they can improve their core courses in other ways (summer school, internet, etc).

steroids. fork union, hargrave have been really good to clemson & clemson to them.
it was really disappointing to see hargrave drop football; both staffs were very comfortable with each other, a lot trust there and shared similar philosophies on the field which made the transition easier once they arrived on campus at clemson.
