What's the over/under on fgf for number of fans...

Sep 25, 2019, 9:14 AM

... claiming they're back and will be bowl eligible this season if they actually do manage to beat KY this weekend?

What a roller coaster of emotions for them if that happens!

All of them.

It's the way they roll.

That's the cool thing about college football.

When a team is doing poorly or mediocre, bragging rights among schools is so important that you can still derive compartmentalized joy from individual games.

Coots are going to be happy if they end their streak against Kentucky. And generally, its always nice to at least be able to silence one group of fans. This doesn't apply nearly as much in the NFL. One of the many reasons I strongly prefer college football.

Probably about the same number...

who said the same thing after uof5c's epic win against 0-4 Charleston Southern School for the Deaf and Blind.

Those dolts really do love to set themselves-up for disappointment.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I could NEVER pull for them, BUT.......

them finding a way to get to 5-7/6-6, just enough to keep Muschamp around wouldn't be the worst thing in the world...........as long as one of their wins isn't vs Clemson.

the thought of Muschamp stringing them along with for another 4-5 years of mediocre football would be enjoyable.

I expect the new rhetoric will be that they are a different team at home after the big win and showing they could hang with Bama.

They will declare that they expect to pull the upset of Florida at home and by the end of the season will be ready for the big upset of Clemson to close out the year 7-5 or 8-4 because nobody comes into the roach and walks out with a win.
