What if we get 2 recruits from Cali?

Spencer Lytle visiting today from California. Will officially visit ND later this week.

One thing I've noticed about our recruiting. We haven't had any official visits and all these other schools are doing them. I think we see a lot of additions late fall do to our officials coinciding with gamedays! Nothing better than game day in Death Valley!

Yes, I believe Dabo feels that official visits in the Spring are too early. Maybe they will start later this summer? Haven't heard.

Dabo said he plans to continue to hold OVs in the fall. Players want to commit if they use an OV and many times the staff has not had time to evaluate. He also said if players were Really interested in Clemson and not a free trip they would save an OV for later in the cycle.

A&M got an official our of Rayburn and Medley. That got Medley but Rayburn got a free trip.


Same with some of these other guys that have taken officials in the Spring and haven't committed.

Anticipate 2 commitments soonish out of California. Potential for a 3rd, and a couple others where I’ll be interested to see how their recruitments develop.

Tapping into the California pipeline would be just as big/if not bigger than when we took CJ out of Florida and opened up that pool of talent. Tons of athletes in Cali. Next up will be finally breaking through in Texas
