What do we avg in points per game in '17 for Off & Def?

We averaged 39.2 on Offense, and Defense held opponents to 18.4 points per game in 2016.
I'm going to say we avg around 34 points per game, but we hold opponents to: 15 points per game.

Even though our defense takes a few steps forward, I do think they will give up more points or yards per game. Losing Watson I think we will struggle a bit sustaining drive and having more 3 and outs. Causing our D to play more snaps giving up a few more overall than we did last year.

2014. We couldn't sustain a drive but the D held, and held, and held some more.
In some way, I think '17 will be a lot like '14 with regards to points scored and given up.

fense 36.2 with much more running scores as we begin to be brutes and control the clock.
Defense 14.4 with three shutouts including the coots 66-0.

heavily dependent on SoS and what kind of teams our opponents field next year.
In terms of S&P+ (which is essentially PPG and PPG allowed but adjusted for opponents) i think we will be about 1 pt better on defense and about 5 points worse on offense which works out to about 35 and 13. Last year we were a shade better than 41 and 14.
Notice our S&P numbers were better than our actual PPG numbers, particularly on defense. That's a reflection of the difficult schedule we played, especially the number of potent offenses we faced.
