Talk about small world. Reading the Georgia Tech list in that photo and there was "Jim Benson" fullback. He was a long time administrator in the Barnwell school system and eventual Superintendent. Did not know he was drafted. He passed away a few years back. Very nice fellow.

My dad was drafted by the Steelers in ‘52 but turned down the contract to take a job with the Clemson agricultural extension service!! Yeah things were different then...

Did you go to Clemson? My freshman roomate's dad played at Clemson, same last name, around the same time. Norris Hall, 4th floor, 79-80?
