Well once you watch the backstory for the foundation Helinski's Hope, you will understand how truly wrong the State headline was, wrong as anything I have seen. There is a 3 part video series that starts with Dabo and Clemson, but part 2 features Helinski Hope, I will post the first part link, but watch all 3.

I don't pull for the Gamecocks, but after watching this, I do pull for this kid. His Family has suffered enough tragedy, and the papers headline was beyond offensive. Helinski's hope was started after his brother, who was quarterback at Washington went into his closet and blew his brains out with an AR-15. Nobody in his family even knew he was depressed, and the foundation was started to remove the stigma of asking for help. His autopsy did indicate some damage from concussions, but does not claim that as the main cause, and everybody thought he was happy until they read some stuff he had written. His family believes he did not seek help because of the stigma of mental health, and the series also talks about a Clemson athlete that opened Dabo's eyes to the issue.
