Wade Hampton golf

I’d like to lie and have a last dying wish story handy but that’s not me. However, playing that course is something I’d almost be willing to die for to do. I’m calling in the tigernet help. anyone got a way.... other than joining?!?

Walker course is getable. 9s a fun hole. 3 wood, mid iron just a placement hole. Ain’t bad. I’ve hit it into the backstop many of times.

That would be the former Glenn Oaks par 3. Was in the corner formed by Pine Knoll Dr and WH Blvd. Have a golf ball with that name stamped on it. Played there many times in the mid 60s. Once came within a knats hair of putting a ball thru the shop's plate glass window off the elevated 18th tee. Very enjoyable par 3. The only other par 3 I knew of then was one on Hwy 123 near G'ville - Pickens speedway.

There's been one in Botany Woods forever.

I used to enjoy knocking them in to the cemetary across Pine Knoll and in to traffic on WH Boulevard at Peach Blossom in Greer??
