This article mentions both Tony and Jeff as potential candidates. Seems like a good possible first stepping stone into a head coaching job. Think either would take it? No mention of which would be more favorable.

I personally feel that Tony will take a job before Jeff. He seems to more eager to leave when the right opportunity comes

We all seem to forget about Brandon Streeter...
He’s a pretty good coach also...
Yes - TL is pretty talented but Streeter has been a good fit here and I can see someone wanting a cosch with QB coaching experience.

The article mentions Willie Taggart?????? Theeee Willie Taggart????? The same guy who just got $17 million for doing absolutely nothing at FSPU????? USF would be out of their minds.

a pretty good job there. It's not THAT crazy, especially considering the likely pool of realistic candidates. It's not like marquee coaches are lining up to interview for the USF job.

USF is much better than GT. Far easier to recruit and far easier to regularly get to 10+ wins on a regular basis.
GT is a really hard place to recruit with their academic standards and the competition from Clemson, UGA, Bama, etc.
If you were going someplace for 3-5 years to make a name for yourself as a head coach USF would be a much better place to do that.

him, but I think this is exactly the job he needs. If he can prove himself at USF, then he will have his pick of strong power 5 jobs in a few years.
USF is also a place you can win at. Jeff is highly respected in the state of Florida.
