TV ratings for NFL and college football.

They will be absolutely enormous imo. I saw that the NFL is renegotiating a new tv contract. The ACC may want to renegotiate if possible. Seems TV viewership may go up with some people avoiding crowds.

Corporate advertising budgets have been slashed

ESPN hasn’t been able to show any live sports for months their revenue has tanked do you really think they’re in the mood to give the ACC more money? More people may be watching Netflix but I doubt you’re going to get a boost in viewership if the college football games are played in empty stadiums no one is going to want to watch that.

Forgot to add, the NFL apparently thinks they can a much larger tv contract. That was the word on ESPN this morn.

Maybe they can the average Sunday afternoon NFL game draws about seven times what the average Saturday afternoon college football game draw in viewership.
