Tua Surgery by Dr Waldrop of Andrews Sports Medicine

Oct 21, 2019, 11:39 PM

I’m a Bama fan that likes to read other boards! I have nothing but respect for what Clemson has become and also because Dabo is still a Bama guy. I just wanted to post a video by the Dr that actually performs the survey. If you were to have this surgery and were a high level athlete this is where you would go because I’m sure most on this board are familiar with Andrews Sports Medicine and Dr Andrews and Cain. The recovery is quite remarkable especially if you have the state of the are equipment Bama and Clemson have if Trevor or Travis were to say have. I saw the other video posted and it just wasn’t quite as detailed and informative at this. Good luck on the rest of the season and hoping to match up again this year with a healthy Tua!

Thanks! I’m hoping we meet up in Atlanta in the Semis.***

Don’t you feel he’s going to have the same issue as

Oct 21, 2019, 11:55 PM

Last year? He was never the same after the injury last year, and the only thing that helped him was giving it time to heal. I know they’re the best doctors in the world but I see no way he’s 100% or even 90% in two weeks.

It’s okay if they lose to LSU because Tua’s hurt. That way they have a good excuse, can skip out on the SECCG again and just show up to the CFP all healthy and rested. They just can’t afford to lose to Allbarn after losing to LSU.

His main issue last year was the sprained knee which happend midways through year...ankle was SEC championship game...he has cut down on his running around in the pocket a lot this year since Sark came on board so if he can be around 85 percent against LSU it should be enough in my opinion

And luckily we have a Bye after Arkansas so he’s got 20 days before live action

Arthrex is the plant that is going up between Clemson and Anderson on US 76. (they sponsored the video)

Arthrex is close enough to be considered "Made in Clemson", therefore Tua will have Clemson parts holding him together!

my concern for him is that every cut by a surgeon leads to scar tissue at some point.

Oct 22, 2019, 7:55 AM

I hope they are doing the right thing for tua and not just the quickest thing to get him back. If those two align then great.

I was think it’s like a work place injury and all costs are covered by university
