They are only ranked so high in order to set up the Bama-Miss game this week.

This way when Bama crushes them, it is obvious that they should be #1. And then Miss will stay in the top 25 since they lost to the best team in the country.

It's taking an SEC pumping effort of epic proportions to sell it. Honestly I hope it happens because ESPN will take a loss as 3/4 of the country won't bother to watch. Remember the incest MNC from a few years ago? Worst ratings of any national championship game.
