I’m slow. Could you put those stats in columns side by side?

Stats are nice, but the only one that matters is found in the W-L (and occasional tie in the NFL).
So for the record Clemson is 0-1 vs the Irish.
Oh, and previous results do not matter either.
Digest that number.

I have no doubt coaches study stats to aid in building game plans but what is comes down to is blocking, tackling & playing as a team. They got great players & coaches, we got great players & coaches. I like our "team" & their all for one, never say die attitude. All I know is they'll fight & play as hard as they can & leave all they got on the field. What more can be asked of them, what more can they do? Best team on that day wins.

Stats don’t lie. 79th in Rushing is the glaring weakness that takes this years team out on 12/19. To get to the next level the coaching responsible for the poor performance will need to be held accountable. Clemson has a hard time letting go of good to get to great. That’s on Dabo, and isn’t easy for anyone who places high value on loyalty and longevity, as he does. Time for Coach Caldwell to do the right thing and transition gracefully, and Elliott to get some help with size and scheme on the O-line. Compare our size and depth O-line to Bama, ND or Ohio State. The difference is glaring.

What exactly would be your definition of "great"? Nothing less than a national championship EVERY year?

Let’s face it. We aren’t exactly blasting anyone off the line of scrimmage this year like in years past. If there is a way to improve ( there is, these are 4 star guys manning the trenches) we will. Hopefully, the VT game is not an anomaly and is a stepping stone towards another Natty.
