Tix situation

So I’ve been donating a lot to IPTAY through my business. We call it a charitable donation because we can.

Usually we get 16 tix. This year we only get 4. How do I write this off as a business expense and sell my extras to cover my IPTAY donation?

Do I have to eat the cost and call it a loss on my P and L?

It's always a bummer when the system breaks so completely that it's difficult to take advantage of the system and your "friends". I mean, jeez, we aren't even allowed to tailgate this year.

Hopefully whoever does your taxes knows that IPTAY donations to get tickets are no longer tax deductible.

You can deduct anything you want.... question is. Do you get audited ?
