Ticket Inflation!!!

A tiger fan posted on here they got into the 1982 Orange Bowl on a $15 ticket to watch the Tigers win the National Championship. I plugged that into a consumer price index inflation calculator and discovered that 2016 National Championship tickets should cost about $40.17. Interesting!

staff size, player prizes, resort for two universities, payouts, um.......this aint the 81 bowl season this is a playoff. But hey, the average guy has been priced out for sure and that is hard.

Yeah I for recognize the apples and oranges of that being a bowl game and this being a true championship. But the way college football has sooo outpaced inflation is still hard point to argue. Not complaining. I didn't have a 60-inch HD flat screen to watch the 1982 Orange Bowl. It's all good. Go Tigers!
