His buyout is only 500k less next year at 3 million... it's also 3 million the following year. I agree just bite the bullet and thank God we have Dabo to balance it out.
Think about this
BB was given a raise and better contract without doing anything.
Dabo's initial salary was 800k. He has had to earn every bit of the several million he makes now and deserves every bit of it and more.

if the football team has a couple bad , mediocre years, you'll be all over Dabo too even though he will be exact same coach.

and the year after that as well. It's 3.5 mill this year, 3 mill next, and so on. If it's time for him to go, putting it off a year or two makes no sense, as there will still be a big buy out.

I'm on a tight budget but if every present and past IPTAY member gave $50.00 we would make a huge dent in the buyout amount. Sounds like a plan. I frankly would love to Brownell be approached by a mid-major out West, but he would not take anything other than a lateral move at this point.
