the valley needs to go for the record

Nov 4, 2015, 9:35 PM

The loudest ever recorded was university of Washington at 133.6 decibels
we were second at 132.8 decibels

I was at the ND game and during the final ND drive and we hit 122 decibel.... we can do better

Rock the valley this Saturday!!!

I believe the last time we actively went for the record, it turned bad... against FSU. And I saw us get to 128 against ND, I doubt we'll need any artificial motivation to be that loud this Saturday.

Am I weird, or is anyone else bringing ear plugs this weekend? I've been to enough of these loud games to know it can hurt. Supposedly once you get into the 100-120db range you're damaging your hearing.

The overall noise doesn't bother me, it's just when you get that one girl beside you that screams like she's in a 80's horror flick that causes you to feel your eardrums vibrate...that's when the pain starts.

I lost my right ear at the Notre Dame game

and haven't gotten it back yet. Sounds like TV static. In the beginning of the game you could feel the air vibrate. The more it rained, the louder it got. I really hope we have a great crowd.
