Video showing the fatal shooting of Adam Toledo, 13, by Chicago police was released to the public on Thursday, according to the Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA).
Since it's pretty much confirmed E.T. was Force sensitive and potentially a Jedi, he could have already removed the guns himself... or mind-tricked you into thinking they are walkie talkies.
I am totally confused. How can the ABC story headline be "Video shows Adam Toledo did not have gun in hand at time of shooting"
when the video shows this and the ABC narrator says it's a gun???? W T F is the logic here? Clearly this is a gun. Are they trying to suggest they know the gun was dropping out of his hand at the time the bullet was flying through the air? What bullchit.
This is an open and closed case. Dude had a gun. Cop (or any other person) has a reasonable presumption of immediate bodily harm or death. That's enough to warrant the shot. The cop should get a medal for marksmanship.
Gotta look frame by frame. A more likely timeline is:
What happens is as the kids hands start to move from down to a more threatening position (up) the cop's finger is moving onto the trigger. As kid keeps moving hands into a threatening position, the cop begins to pull the trigger. As the trigger is pulled and the bullet is flying, the kids hands are still going up. The bullet hits and the kids hands are still going up.
