The key to this years game with the coots

Last year they could not run on us at all, except for the QB runs. We have most of our run stoppers back this year and they have most their OL back. If our D-line improves only as much as their OL, we win. If they become one dimensional, we win. Our d-line was better than their OL last year, and will be this year. I think that this is the key to this years game and we win by ten.

Yup, I agree. Thompson picked us apart a couple years back because we got no pressure on him. We need to live in the backfield.

guess yall are forgetting the 4 int's we dropped. the d actually played well except 3rd and long where we were pathetic at best. last year we lead the nation in tol's. the d backfield should be much better.

... you had to put 8 and 9 men in the box to do it. You left the secondary too vulnerable with no help. If you can stop the run with 5 or 6 in the box, you will win.

Agreed. Smash mouth offense mixed with physical defense and we break the streak in the valley this year.

1) Establish the run and stick to it.

2) Stop their run.

3) No turnovers

4) Pressure their QB

5) Solid special teams
