get behind players who play for Clemson:
“If people are talking negative about the program, we don’t care,” Krieger said. “We know the integrity of this team, the integrity of this program, and we take a lot of pride in everything that we do, because we are Clemson University.”

I am sure that Tommy Bowdens players supported him.
I am sure that Larry Shyatts players supported him.
I am sure that Tommy Wests players supported him.
I am sure that Ken Hatfields players supported him.

Its always a difficult balance being frustrated with losses

and in the Baseball and basketball team, multiple losses, plus a period of less than expected performance. But, when teams don't meet fans expectations and perform below the levels that they are supposedly capable of performing, then if someone hasn't made a mistake in player evaluation, the next step is looking at the coach. But saying that someone can't criticize the performance of the team and the coaches is ludicrous.

well said!! those that say if U do not support a certain coach that U are not supporting the players and team! that is ludicrous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably more than I do.
At the very least I hope Coach Leggett get's made Director of Baseball Operations or some other title. I don't want the program to be without him in some way shape or form.

Maybe Krieger should take a look at the errors that his team made this year--I hope that he is not proud of that stat. Also, what about "closers" on the pitching staff that can't close. I am always behind the players and the coaches BUT...at some point, they have to find ways to win and not "give" games away by poor execution. That is part of the growth process from kids to men, learning how to make positive improvement in their games and in life.

The world has numerous men of integrity who can't play 3rd base or close a baseball game. Integrity is part of the game but not the full picture.

I think Clemson supports coaches better than almost any

other school. Even Duke and Wake would have fired TB sooner. TB, Shyatt, Jack, and others lasted a lot longer at Clemson than they would at other programs. And I've never met a Clemson fan that didn't support the players.
