She keeps pointing out how KB2 was the reason we beat TAMU and TL has only shined vs lesser teams. Yes Kelly was a stabilizing force in the 2nd half vs A&M, but people forget that TL outplayed KB2 in the 1st half of that game. That's the reason TL started the 2nd half. Trevor started the 2nd half shaky and then Kelly took over. So basically in the last 5 games Clemson has played (which includes the Spring Game), TL has been better than KB2 every time out with the exception of the 2nd half of the TAMU game. That's a lot of data to support Dabo's move.

about how this competition has gone on film and in the room - he knew this was going to happen based on what HE has watched in practice and on film since TL got here. KB is awesome but TL is a potential superstar and KB is unfortunate in that he followed a superstar and had a potential superstar come in a year later. Without the new redshirt rule this is not happening, and we were unlucky enough to be the first big story of unintended consequences of the new rule - this will only happen more and more in coming seasons to everyone - game 4 will become a "trade deadline" of sorts.

kneel down; 52 yds total O. Did TLaw get 1 series or 2 in the 2nd half? I know one series was all running blown by a fumble that left us behind the chains and then TL had a series that was 3rd down completion to that HR came up 2 yds short.
So TLaw wasn't given a chance in 2nd half of TAM really which I understand. Coaches got way conservative with the lead and the KB/Center exchange issue at the end of the 1st half changed the complexion of that game. Coaches got nervous and stayed with the known late.... simple as that

to be had? They were still going to be critique and compared. And if TL faltered then guess whose back? Dabo was just giving him a heads up that this was the possible direction they were going. Didn't mean it was final. KB chose to try out another place.
People keep bringing up TAMU but you don't consider that it was the first game TL had ever played..first real game that is. First game ever??? You expect him to be more poised than an 18 game starter 2 qtrs in?? really? And they also don't consider that we had 3 drives at the end that went 3 and out under KB. Those would have ended the game but we had to keep punting and giving it back. So it wasn't like KB just controlled the game or anything. He did have that good drive that got us a score and that was huge, no doubt.
but we're spoiled at clemson now after DW4...we need that game ending drive those couple sit down routes to hunter to end it and run the clock. That is not KB's MO.
