Old place on Shop Rd. near the DMV and River Rat brewing.

That place punishes my asshole. The fried chicken was barely edible today, but the catfish bites dipped in Texas Pete and Ranch sauce were delicious!

it's not). The catfish bites are from his family's 50+ year old recipe, and only like 4 people know it. I worked there a few times in HS (for a couple weeks after Hugo when schools were closed), and spent hours cutting up partially frozen catfish filets. That sucks, in case you were wondering.

Asked my uncle for the recipe once like 10 years ago, and instead, he mailed an 8 lb. bucket of the fry mix.

long before Doc's existed. One of the best caterers in the southeast. Guy is a hustler, and he's enjoying being a pretty wealthy man now because of it.
