These might already be laws and the way it works, so take this with a grain of salt. We need to have laws where people have to report that a gun was stolen and have it accounted for at all times. As much as that is possible of course. They should all be registered in every state in the nation and people should have serious penalties for not having their guns accounted for.

here, but I would be very willing to trade the oppression narrative for restrictions on guns right now. The OP's point was that every minority victim is turned into a generalized oppression rant by the msm, but crimes like this - which are over represented in the stats, are ignored. I don't think the damage this is doing to us can be overstated. The division being manufactured is an existential threat, imo, so yes, I would trade it for gun restrictions right now. And that's saying something, because I don't think there should be more restrictions than now exist.
