Stockmarketnet

Jul 18, 2017, 10:17 AM

For those of you who like to dabble like I do and know you'll probably never make any serious money doing it, I've found a penny stock that may interest you. I got in on Camber Energy at $.20 a few weeks ago, and we're up 10% on the day to $.43 with rising natty gas prices.

Not enough to retire on, but it may buy me a new stove. YEEEHAWW BOYS

Screw you, pal; no more free investment advice from me.

'Specially after you ignored me urging you to buy Sprint 2 Januarys ago when it was $2.45.

Wanna get really freaked out by some financial number crunching?

Sprint now at $8.45... (8.45 - 2.45) / 2.45 = TWO FORTY FIVE!

YOU COULD HAVE MADE 245% FROM 2.45 2 JANUARYS AGO!

COOTSERVATIVE MORAN GET YOUR HEAD TOGETHER!

Sounds like a good time to buy it...

Never make any serious money?????

Jul 18, 2017, 10:33 AM

My entire portfolio is up 84%.

SPYDR funds bought at the right time are no gamble. Granted it's only a few thousand dollars, but it's all I had as a freshly made college student when I sunk all my money when the market dropped on 3 different occasions. I've made over 100% return on those. The others I threw a couple hundy at and lost. They were for fun.

I like tangible assets like beanie babies and and guns

Jul 18, 2017, 10:40 AM

Personally, I just like to dabble and don't really have big expectations. I've been bleeding cash since last September when I bought a ring, I don't have a few thousand to throw at the stock market.

Land that can be fortified. Land that supports the building of underground concrete-reinforced bunkers.

You using robinhood?

Jul 18, 2017, 11:09 AM

I dabble, and have played with pennies, but for every quick 30-40% I made I had an equal and opposite later down the line. Finally decided to quit on an upswing and now I play with other stuff. My most recent interest has been REITs, but they're beginning to bore me as well. I may try to swing trade JNUG soon, but my only other attempt to do that did not work well. Over the two year life of my robinhood account I am up 1.69% but have been as high as +20% and as low as -30%.

I just go through TD Ameritrade

Jul 18, 2017, 11:16 AM

I think it's $6.95 per trade, so I'm not out there making a bunch of moves. I've only got Nintendo, Duluth trading, and Camber energy right now...Duluth was doing very nice for a while, I'll probably wait until Cripmas time and see if I can get some return on it. Nintendo's up around $40, I got in at around $29 a few months back when the switch was sold out everywhere.

You must be playing around with more money than I am.

Jul 18, 2017, 12:20 PM

Not much that I have done would be worth paying a whole lot for commissions. I enjoy the research part of it more than anything else though. I definitely don't always pick winners, but I feel like I learn something about each industry as I go along.

Playing with penny stocks is a great way to lose money

Jul 18, 2017, 12:44 PM

Just get some hookers and blow if you have excess money laying around that you don't mind losing

I quit doing that a while ago and I completely agree***

Yep, I've been debating about selling it off soon

I'm thinking it's about maxed out. I'll give you internet points in lieu of actual monies for your sound advice.
