What I don't get is that the media is still cautious with us, but are all aboard jumping on the gamecock bandwagon after a lack luster 9-4 season. I really think they'll be closer to 6-6 this year, per-season guides "possibly a 10 win team"

They shouldn't have won more than 6 or 7 games, but their amazing luck, and worst division in the big 5 gave 'em a record they should have never even sniffed.

Heck no,they were very lucky to win that many games last year. They really sucked. Hell, la tech was a better team than them. I see 7 and 5 at best. I hope worse.

Basically rolled over for coots in second half of bowl game last year because the game just meant that little to them.

If you are trying to insinuate that the pundits think SC will be better than Clemson you are dead wrong. The last two beatdowns are a very strong indication of the talent gap between the two programs and this year will be no different. Clemson is picked as the number 2 team by most everyone. That’s not cautious and if there’s a “gamecock bandwagon” I haven’t seen it from many people outside of Columbia.

The coots are either unranked are at the bottom of the top 25, so I'm not sure I agree with your post.
I wouldn't be surprised if they got 8-9 wins again because their schedule is so soft.

If I remember correctly, all the SEC teams they beat last year combined for a grand total of two victories over P5 teams, not counting wins over each other.
