Listening to Vandervort on WCCP...

Jul 18, 2018, 1:32 PM

Especially in the beginning of the interview, the guy literally took several statements from the coaches at the golf outing and warped them to a point that they were negative, and almost not at all what the coaches meant.

I know that’s how media works, but the guy doing it to benefit himself, at the expense of the program he allegedly loves makes me sick.

Do you have any examples? I'm not trying to be argumentative, I'm just curious what he said.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

He mentioned Dabo talking about how both quarterbacks would play.

Then turned it into “how telling it was” that “nothing has changed” in terms of loyalty to seniority.

He backtracked a little to a both qb’s will play, two quarterback system thing. But you can tell he’s in it for the sound byte and web clicks.

I’m sure it’ll be online later, and it continued for two more topics. Maybe I’m jaded because he has a history of this. I don’t know.

Guy just rubs me wrong.

yeah he's not the best

Seems in love with FSU. He did say something that was interesting, though. He mentioned that we haven't heard that TL has the "it" factor like we did with DW4. sucks to hear, but he's kinda right. But then again, DW4 just might be the best QB to ever play the game when it's all said and done. I may be judging but i'm thinking KB has more of a pull on the locker room than CS did so TL, has a harder time getting separation with JUST play.

Wasn’t Dabo but I’m almost certain I’ve heard Scott say that TL had the it factor. Also, I don’t recall Dabo using that phrase during DW4 first year.

Streeter all but said that also.

IMHO, the interviews so far have done nothing but left the door open for naming TL the starter game 1. That’s pretty much polar opposite from the “loyalty” pundits and fans have critized Dabo and staff for.

But that doesn’t seem to be the controversial story that they wanted. So they’re spinning it.

^^^^^ post and point of the day ^^^^^

Gets it and I for one appreciate it being put in words that even I can understand.

corona I think you nailed it regarding the locker room.

Not saying that should be the determining factor but it seems to matter a lot

That’s pretty much how last nights article went concerning kb. Made it sound like Dabo was saying that Kb was too good to not play. That’s what I thought had everyone out of sorts this morning.

You got to listen to the entire interview and decide what is really being said.

Sounds like he belongs on TNet.

Unfortunately his site is significantly worse than TNet.

Can you even fathom such a monstrosity?
