I will be VERY disappointed if Phommachan (sic) concedes the starting job to DJ. Clemson isn’t made that way.

Totally agree. Don't think there is much question there. I do think Taisun will be QB2 though. I don't think anyone incoming could knock him down a peg. Also, I know people are enamored with Hunter Helms after throwing a couple TD's against the citadel or whoever it was, but I don't think he actually beats out Taisun.

I agree. I think/hope Taisun will prepare this off-season to be ready to be the man if called on.

I would normally agree with you, but I have not seem TP throw a decent pass since the Spring game two years ago. I mean..not one. Maybe with more reps he has improved and i have great hopes for him, but he kinda seems like Kelly Bryant 2.0 if not worse thus far. I REALLY hope I'm wrong however.

Helms 2 tds were against GT. Up to that point he looks even better than DJ. Phoma didnt look good that game 2 for 7 passing. I am pulling for helms this season until one of the freshman qb step up.

Everybody wants to label people Renfrow Jr. But if we're putting bets on our next great slot receiver, my bet's on Troy Stellato. He's 6'1", has great hands, and is lightning fast (he had a 4.42 laser 40 as a sophomore in high school. He'll be legit 4.3 speed). Plus he's already a slot receiver who specializes in short to mid routes. And he was dominant in Florida 5A, which is far beyond SC 5A right now. That's why Ohio State and Alabama both wanted him so badly to play in the slot. Will Taylor is a good athlete, but there's no evidence he'll be close to Stellato so far.
