Well the SEC formula is apparent

Oct 12, 2019, 9:46 PM

Have all the most storied teams not play anybody til late in the season
And give them time to move way up in the polls. Then pair them up so when
One loses its always to a top team poll wise so neither would fall far. And
Also, never play a solid non conference team if possible.

That explains why Bama whoops them all. Overrated.

Not to mention the media agenda. Reminds me of a bunch of Democrats.

Don’t forget all SEC schools are magically ranked in the top 20 at the beginning of each season. No matter how much they lost in the previous season.

Remember when aTm was in the Top 15 to start this year?

Oct 12, 2019, 10:04 PM

Yeah, that made no sense.

The End. Media hype fails again.

How can a conservative agenda like that

Oct 12, 2019, 10:10 PM

be compared to a bunch of democrats? It's like the southern states keeping the same congressmen in power for decades. It reminds me more of corporate greed, which ESPN is, which is liberal and in turn a bunch of democrats. Man, I gotz the cornfusion setting in.

14 SEC teams play a total of 15 Power 5 opponents in non-con competition. (FL and SC both play 2 ACC opponents, GA plays an ACC and ND. 9 SEC schools play one P5. 2 play none at all.)

The conference as a whole had already lost 10 non conference games before today. That's way more than the 4 they lost during ALL of 2018 regular season. The top of the conference looks very strong in early season play, but the reality is that the bottom is much weaker this year.

So how strong is the top, really, when they can't beat the bottom?

When all is said and done after the CCGs, once again the SEC will have one highly qualified team, the same as the B1G, and maybe the same as the Big XII and probably the same as the ACC. There will not be ANY SEC teams with enough quality wins to overcome their multiple losses and good enough to surpass a conference champion.

The ACC formula: Everyone is trash except Clemson.

True... True...

LSU won at Texas

Oct 12, 2019, 11:17 PM

Florida beat Miami who is apparently one of the better ACC teams (yikes).
