recruiting perspective

As I read about White and XT and Lawrence it makes me think how far our recruiting has come. We used to show on offer list for guys this good. Later they would visit but go else where to a power team. Now they visit and very often sign with us. No we dont get all and no one does but I'll bet our batting average is as good or better than most who we really go after. A far cry from say 10 years ago when Spiller was a miracle to get on campus much less sign.

We must sustain great recruiting in order to compete in the second most difficult division in all of college football.

Not sure one team makes it a tough division. Lsu, no offense. Ole ####, no d. In years past yes, not so sure last year

You have a good argument, let's break it down.
Clemson>Alabama FSU>Auburn
LSU>Louisville aTm>NC State Ole Miss>Syracuse Miss State>Wake Forest Arkansas>Boston College
Got to give the slight edge to SEC West although the top two teams in the Atlantic are better than everyone.

SEC West by a little.
Because Ole Miss and Miss State > Syracuse and Wake Forest.

He broke it down in the above thread - Here's his post:
>You have a good argument, let's break it down.
>Clemson>Alabama >FSU>Auburn > > >LSU>Louisville >aTm>NC State >Ole Miss>Syracuse >Miss State>Wake Forest >Arkansas>Boston College
Gives a slight edge to SEC West and I have to agree with that...

Although I purely agree that recruiting obviously is a major factor in success, I think that player development is an even bigger factor. What this coaching staff has been able to do to guys like TJ Green, Ryan Carter, Kevin Dodd, Adam Humphries, or Jaron Brown have been anything short of amazing.
