Visited the Tombstone Cemetery by the football complex today

How come some away game bowl wins over ranked teams are missing ? Wins over Oklahoma, West Va, Penn State and others are not included. There's not a stone for the 81 Natty ! That's a lot of missing tombstones.

Tommy Bowden began the graveyard, did he not? Don't believe any of the games before his era are included.

No. Danny Ford began the tombstones. First one was for at FSU '89

I recall there being a tombstone that had the scores of a bunch of games from pre-1989. It listed probably 10-15 of them and had some blurb at the top that read "Road wins over Top 25 teams prior to 1989" or something similar. Did this tombstone get removed?
