Is this one of those vaunted defenses you guy's played? LOL, 42 points to a 10th string QB. Bad ### acc defense right here. Just imagine what the score would be with the 1st or 2nd string QB playing.

So we just gonna ignore that unc has scored 31 and should have 38 on Baylors defense if not for a stupid fumble, and the 4th hasn't even started.. Sounds like UNC might be on par with OU offense.. How did they do vs Clemson

UNC should have won this game easily. Baylor is missing a lot of great players. Clemson was touting that they beat three top ten teams. UNC doesn't even belong being ranked. This game just shows how crappy the acc is. Does anyone outside of clemson and fsu play football in the acc?

Baylor held them to fewer points and then gave one up in garbage time. They also scored more points on unc with a 10th string QB and back up RB. Baylor D>clemson D. Baylor O>clemson O.

every game this year. And will continue that trend come Thursday.
That's all I really care about. It won't be a blowout like last year, it will be a fight to the end. But OU will be sent home feeling sad that listening to last year's broadcasters make them mad wasn't enough to win the game. Rallying around a loss to Texas wasn't enough to take them to the championship.
OU fans will be sad that their team got beat, those Tigers from the weak ACC beat them again even though this team was so much different than last year's.
Sorry sad OU fans, someone's got to go home crying and it won't be Dabo Swinney, Deshaun Watson, Shaw Lawson, or the rest of Tiger Nation. This train is bound for glory.

Let's take a look at how all great these acc defenses have done in the bowls.
UNC gave up 49 points.
Pitt gave up 44 points.
VT gave up 52 points.
Duke gave up 41 points.
Miami only gave up 20. The best showing so far.
So, does anyone actually play defense in the acc?

How did #12 total D App State do in theirs? Oh that's right...they won. And um, VT...they beat "mighty ol' #14 total offense Tulsa" giving up that much with their #44 ranked total defense.
FSU, NC State, Louisville, Fl State...still haven't played yet.

Also curious...how well did #2 total offense Texas Tech fair against LSU last nighht...must have missed seeing that awesomely hot Big 12 offense and been watching another game of a Big 12 awesome offense getting their arses spanked....

Well, Baylor has already scored more points with a 10th string QB and backup RB than the clemson scored against unc. They have also held them to fewer points so far than the all mighty clemson defense. What an embarrassment.

Not when you account for the actual number of plays defended. Despite playing a full extra game more than OU, clemson still defended about a game's worth less plays than OU did. OU defended 899 plays in 12 games and clemson defended 821 plays in 13 games. Adjusted for yards per play defended
BC still very good at 4.07.. Both OU and clemson are at 4.68.
