a huge slice of their revenue and the fans stay outside the gate tailgating throughout the game more so than attending.

Unfortunately, this won't be the last school to do away with their programs. I worry this Power 5 thing with paying athletes and total autonomy isn't all it's cracked up to be. Sure, it's defiantly a positive for schools within the power 5 conferences but the little guys are being forgotten IMO.
