They can only talk about recruits at certain time and they don’t want to be penalized by North Carolina athletic assn.

Coaches can't comment on recruits until they have signed.

I hope that pay raises for our assistants are in the works and that they are competitive with the rest of the ACC.

They haven’t been competitive in the past.

Some progress was made this past offseason in terms of assistant salaries, as a result of the now infamous meeting Brownell and DRad had. Hopefully that progress continues. Brad knows how to assemble a staff.

Two suggestions about little, but annoying, peeves:

1. Get the camera set up, CENTERED and LEVELED, BEFORE the speaker begins talking. I've gone through
an entire bottle of Dramamine watching the coach and player interviews this year. ;)

2. Give Coach Brownell a Nerf pen to tap on the desk (thump-thump, thump-thump).

3. (I know I said "Two suggestions", but this just came to me) Perhaps another microphone behind the
camera operator so that we can hear the reporter questions.

Other than that, NICE WORK this year!
