Tim Bourret question of the day

Feb 18, 2020, 8:54 AM

In reading the article about Xavier Kelly, I realized that we had at least 2 players from Kansas on last year's roster. Now that our recruiting has taken on more of a national flavor, I wonder how many states are left that we have never signed a recruit from. Tim?

The following 19 states are represented on the current roster - FL, VA, AL, KY, GA, CT, SC, TN, NC, CA, LA, TX, MD, KS, OK, VA, PA, MO, OH. Which of the other 31 can we check off?

I would guess no one from Rhode Island, Montanna, Wyoming, or South Dakota. Rob Bodine was from North Dakota as I recall. And we have had guys from DC before.

CW42 was from Massachusetts
Hunter Johnson from Indiana
Chad Kelly from New York

Should guys who transferred out count?

CW42 graduated from Suffield Academy, a boarding school in CONN.

I think he was good enough that both states would claim him.
