Blocking schemes in run and PAP are much more defined than with RPO or read-option. Our O-line has the talent and physical makeup. They get exposed in the scheme, IMO.

We have recruited our lineman specifically to play a zone based blocking scheme. It wouldn't be that easy just to switch to a pro scheme with mostly man blocking.

We have been a spread team since 2011. Switching to a prostyle offense would take a full offseason to implement, but it would be crazy to switch to a completely different offense anyway. We could adjust our spread scheme to be more of an air raid style than a smashmouth spread, but that would be the most we should do.

I agree bc everyone knows that we can't risk TL on any play, and that would put us right back into a predicable offense!!! But, I have always questioned our force our will play calling that Elliott seriously believes in!!!
