Offensive tempo!

Alabama did to us what we did to them last year! Our defensive guys couldn’t get set half the time! Meanwhile our offense that won games for years with tempo has slowed down to a crawl! Maybe they will try the tempo thing again next year!

You have to get a first down before tempo can be effective. We had 3 in the first half

It wasn't tempo but turnovers and bad field position.

If you look at the box score, our defense did a fine job. Only allowed 10 points not effected by turnovers. Theyre defense just did a better job.

Tempo works if you're moving the chains. If you're not then you just exhaust your defense that much quicker.
